Canterbury goopher and president, Mike Young, was sited at the World Mission Conference this summer. He is spending this coming year as a young adult missionary for the Episcopal Church. Mike must raise $10,000 for his own support during the year as a missionary. If you are interested in supporting Mike, please send a check to the Episcopal Student Center at Texas A&M with "Mike Young" in the memo section of the check and we will see that Mike get it. Mandi Hughes married Josh Fuller (both are graduates of Dallas Theological Seminary) and joined The Navigators where they serve the students at the University of North Texas in Denton. The BIG NEWS is that Mandy is pregnant and is due in June of 2008. Congratulations Mandi and Josh.
What former Canterbury Aggie is now carrying a GUN? Our very own Game Warden, Rebecca Braud. Yes, she is a Game Warden and headed to the Valley following her graduation from Game Warden school. She is also packing a brand new diamond ring. I saw it with my own eyes. Congratulations Rebecca.
Phil Ellis married Jennifer Eastman on June 7, 2008. Phil's bachelor party in College Station was so successful that some of the folks had trouble holding their heads up the next morning at brunch with Rev. Sandi.
Former President, Susan Land, is sticking around A&M as a grad student in the Vet School and Will Dugat, often seen with Susan, is a grad student in Geology! Will is now assisting the new deacon, Lisa Hines, at St. Thomas with youth ministry.
Dustin Hill is headed back to Blinn. It seems teaching is his bliss.
Ronnie McPherson and Lauren tied the knot at St. Thomas in May right after Lauren graduated! They are headed to Corpus Christi, where Ronnie will be working with an engineering company. He will be working in beach eroision. Congratulations!
Wes, former Canterbury Master Griller, married Amy Elizabeth. He's going to work in the Texas Oil Business and Amy Elizabeth is in medical school in Houston. Congratulations!!!
Evan (Peter Pan) Otto '04 is teaching highschool math in Austin Texas. The BIG news is that "Peter Pan" has a home mortgage! and a puppy!
Former President, Margaret Brown '06 is in Med School at UTMB, Galveston. Margaret has been seen with the same guy for some time now. It seems med school doesn't take up all her time.
Canterbury computer mogal and ghost bio-writer to priests, Teague Costas, '06 has moved on to "reality computer world" at AMD in Austin. Teague was spotted in College Station this spring at Phil Ellis' bachelor party.
